Default SBSH Releases PhoneWeaver 1.1

http://forums.sbsh.net/index.php?showtopic=18816

"PhoneWeaver is a phone management application designed to help control your phone state parameters using profiles in the most intuitive way. Using profiles you can link between your phone state and your agenda, time of day and much more. Using PhoneWeaver you can define smart profiles that are activated manually or automatically based on the time, appointments or phone state. Each smart profile can fully control the state of your phone radio, Wi-Fi, push mail, Bluetooth, ringer, vibrate state and much more! PhoneWeaver also adds a clean and straightforward plugin to your Today screen, allowing you to view and control the currently active profile. PhoneWeaver is the best way to link your information stored on your mobile device with your device phoning capabilities!"

SBSH has just released v1.1 of PhoneWeaver and it includes a plethora of new features such as thumbs mode, pop-up menu support, PocketBreeze support, and skins. It's a free update for existing registered users of PhoneWeaver. If you've yet to try or buy, head over to our affiliate software store. The full version is priced at $10.99 until September 5.

Unfortunately repeating audio reminders for missed calls, undread text messages, reminders, e-mails and MMS are still missing.

So in my view PhoneAlarm still has the edge.

Until PhoneWeaver adds this feature, a combination of PhoneWeaver and Pocketmax's AlarmPal works great.
Pocketmax is the PhoneAlarm developer, but if one prefer's the SBSH entry, this repeating alarm module works great, too.

Hi Srmz

This is one of the features that we are working on these days too and you can you can be sure that this is also a feature you will find with PhoneWeaver upcoming updates in the near future 8)

Version 1.1 is the first large update that we release for PhoneWeaver which was initially introduced several months ago, following several previous minor updates that we had that resolved a few minor bugs we had.

With this new version 1.1 we've optimized LOTs of the internal code with PhoneWeaver and also implemented several really important features that are users have requested in the past two months ever since PhoneWeaver was initially released

We already completed our development plan also for version 1.2 which will introduce a few additional great surprises with it along with some of the other highly requested features - so I can assure you that this is also something that will arrive with upcoming updates and the development is currently going on in full pace!

As always - if users have any additional ideas and features you would like to see implemented please be sure to let us know and we will get into work right away

Default SPB PhoneSuite

I've been using SPB's PhoneSuite and find that it has everything I need. It has white/black lists so I can send call straight to voice mail and it also allows me to dial from a list of favorite numbers.

I also use SPB Phone Suite -- got it as part of the Communications Package.

It has lots of features -- but I wish I could add new profiles to it. As it is now, there are four selectable profiles (non time-based), but I find myself wanting at least one more.

I had some issues with this working on the Treo 750 as it has a proprietary method for volume control and alert tones.
Does this version work better with the Treo 750 than 1.0?

Hi RF9

This should definitely work better with this new version on the Treo (I'm using it on my Treo 750). With version 1 we've had some trouble changing ringers on Treo devices which are now fixed with this new update and we've also implemented lots of additional fixes with this new update that weren't included with the first version.

This is apart from the features that this new version introduced.

Following the reply above I'll mention that PhoneWeaver is structured a bit differently and instead of using fixed-profiles we allow users to configure their own set of profiles (either manual or automated) were users can create virtually unlimited number of profiles (technically it is limited to 100, but I don't believe anyone will need so many profiles, so it is almost considered as unlimited).

We have a few surprises planned for the upcoming update too which will cover the missing "meters" capability for unread meters, so this will soon be arriving too as we continue our work and progress with the development each day 8)

I'll be glad to receive more input on idea you would like to see implemented with upcoming updates of course!

It's great product with lot of functionality.

Some small requests.

- Big button's for profile selection.
- Popup function when today plug in is active. (i like to switch profile with hardware button's and today plugin)
- faster auto switch of the profiles.

I have a Car profile what is doing the fallowing things.
Trigger: AS power
BT on
Max Backlight
volume 75%

auto switch for this function is taking about 2 min on my TyTn

Version 1.1 comes with large and small icons and is skinable if you need even bigger icons.

Profiles should be switching much faster than what you are stating. Timed and agenda profiles switch, by design, just after the time (I think it is 30 seconds). When you plug into power PhW waits 15 seconds to see if Active Sync is present. Two minutes is, of course, much longer than 15." I'd suggest upgrading to 1.1 and see if this solves the problem and if not send all your details to support so Miguel can look into it.
