Default NTT DoCoMo Unveils the HT1100 (Nike)

http://www.nttdocomo.com/pr/2007/001361.html

"The FOMA HT1100, targeted at active business consumers who also want a handset for personal use, will feature HTC's stylish and versatile TouchFLO Touch Cube 3-dimentional interface that allows users to access and operate a variety of functions with the slide of a thumb. Audio visual files, such as YouTube Mobile content, can be enjoyed using Streaming Media software and HTC's Audio Manager music player. The handset supports DoCoMo's WORLD WING international roaming service."

Score one for Japan. Sometime during the first quarter of 2008, NTT DoCoMo will commence selling the HT1100 (Nike) in jet black or pearly white, which in a nutshell, is an HTC Touch with a slide-out numeric keypad, GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA support, and two cameras (one for video telephony). Any of our Japanese readers looking forward to picking this one up?

Interesting, but before I consider buying this, they need to make decent hangup/call buttons. These little dots is a joke.

I just love the looks and size of the Touch.
This one should have better hardware specs + the keypad in pretty much the same shell, with some additional thickness so at least for me it looks like a very nice QVGA device - maybe even better than the Kaiser...
