Default SPB Business Pack Bundle

http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/abo...7/aug21.html?en

"Spb Business Pack is a collection of the four best selling Windows Mobile business programs that you can buy together with 33% discount. Meetings, financials, security and travel data - all the information you and your business need from your Pocket PC. "

This is a nice package (link to product page), which puts together 3-4 very commonly used apps together at a reasonable price (I'd argue over including Traveler, but that's just me and my particular needs). What's really nice though is SPB are offering upgrade pricing to the bundle for any previously registered owners of individual apps, which makes for an appealing way to get some very good utilities at a discount. If you're in that category, check out this page to calculate how big of a discount you'll get on the bundle.

Do not bother with SPB Finance if you have Vista and plan on synching. There has been no update in nearly a year and SPB appears to have abandoned the product. If you have XP and Money 2007 or lower, it works pretty well.

yeah, Finance seriously needs an update....
I was very disappointed in a few "fixes" they made that actually removed functionality... I don't sync it so it works pretty well for me but it really needs some love. If only some UI tweaks to make it work better with WM5 and one-handed navigation or even better some speed enhancements and UI functionality enhancements. I won't even touch the sync issues.

Yeah, don't buy it to get the Finance Application. I put money out twice to buy and upgrade it and they have always been at least one Quicken release behind in their upgrades. I don't see how anyone could trust them to keep Money up to date either.

I confirm that the current version of Spb Finance has some problems with synchronization on Vista.
During the last two weeks we've forced investigation of the problem and have already found the reason. It's related to some specific details of the Vista security.
The workaround has already been found and the beta version is expected on the next week.

I just noticed that a public beta version of Spb Finance has been released, http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9326

It is supposed to bring compatibility with Vista.

We also confirm that this upgrade that will bring Vista compatibility will be a free upgrade for all registered Spb Finance 2.x users.
