MemMaid 2.0 Released
"MemMaid is a tool that scans and detects all the files and registry entries that consume your memory and removes them leaving your Pocket PC's memory clean like never before. The only tool you will ever need to clean and manage your Pocket PC's memory."

As hinted at last week, the latest version of MemMaid arrived yesterday with over twenty new and improved features and that all-important Windows Mobile 6 support. If you fancy giving it a go, head over to our affiliate software store and grab a free trial version. The full version is available for $19.99.

It's also a $9.99 upgrade if you have a version of 1.x lying around. So far I've been playing with it, and the ReClaimRAM feature works as advertised, like the SKTool's one. It also has an easy interface to tweaks to modify SD/MMC Transfer rates, relocate the Opera Cache, among other things.
Quite useful. Posted something about it on Aximsite already ... but I'd say it's a worthy upgrade myself.

How do you apply for the upgrade?

Well done Dinarsoft. You have made an excellent program even better.
I have just upgraded from Version 1.73 to this one. The reclaim RAM feature now works.
Just one question from people who have installed version 2.0. In the settings menu there is an option "Silent ReclaimRAM tool" Does anyone know what this is.
Thanks

Dear Srmz,
In the programs folder you have three icons, one to run MemMaid and one to run QuickCleaner and the third one is for quick ReclaimRAM without the need to open the full MemMaid.
When you use this shortcut, MemMaid will reclaim the available RAM and display a confirmation message. You can turn off this message for a complete silent reclaim RAM.
Regards,
DinarSoft Support

Hello. I just loaded v2.0 on my Treo 750. I am a registered 1.x owner and considering the upgrade.
However, I find that MemMaid does not respond to the Treo's d-pad for any type of scrolling or selecting unless you tap the screen first. Can this be corrected? The main purpose of using the d-pad is so you don't have to touch the screen. Other applications allow use of the d-pad without having to touch the screen first.
I also find accessing and modifying the notification database very slow. I have a max of 21 entries.
I also noticed that the quick clean launcher does not clean the advanced items that I have checked off like the prior version. Launching quick clean only does a "simple" clean. The shortcut for quick clean is "\..\...MemMaid.exe - Q" How do I get quick clean to recognize the advanced cleaning settings?
Thank you.

We will look into this.

Are you referring to the database itself or the notification queue? and what exactly you did and found it slow?

Advanced Cleaners are meant for you to look at first before deleting, that is why the Quick Cleaner does not clean them.
