Dopod WM6 ROMs Available NOW
"Well lookey what HTC has cooked up for us, a little more Windows Mobile 6 upgrade info for those Dopod owners weary of the oh-so-long in the tooth Windows Mobile 5. Starting July 6th with the Dopod D810 (HTC P3600), then the 838Pro (HTC TyTn) on the 9th, with the U1000 (HTC Advantage) and P800w (P3300) closing out the giving on the 11th and 13th."
Since we're up to the 10th already, the ROMs for the D810 and 838Pro should already be up, and the U1000 and P800w should be up in the next couple of days. If you're in the possession of one of these devices, and you're hankering for some WM6 action, you've just got your wish! And let the rest of us poor bodies know how you get on.

 Dopod/HTC just changed the dates:
July 10: D810
July 12: 838Pro
July 13: P800W
July 20: U1000
Guess they're not ready yet. :|

Yeesh, that's a bummer
Can anybody access the D810 ROM since we're up to the 10th already?

This upgrade is for unlocked/unbranded TyTn's right. It won't work with a SIM locked Cingular 8525?

Since the photos in the website are all Dopod devices, will the WM6 update also work on their "unlocked" counterparts like the HTC TyTn?

Specifically for the Dopod variants to be precise, though with HTC officially taking over there won't be much difference going forward.
