I'm a big Spb fan (I've bought 6 of their products). They're absolutely brilliant when creating new product domains like Mobile Shell (I sooo love Spb Menu), but Wallet (& Traveler) seem like copycat products that offer minimal differentiation against established players. Come on Spb - wow us with the next "must have" application that no one has even thought of.

I use FlexWallet (webis.net) and I love it. This is probably the most important application I have on my device and it works great!

Is there any comparison available between SpbWallet, FlexWallet and SplashID? Anyone who has used all (or two) of them?

I use eWallet and have done for a couple of years now.
I have load the trial of the SPB version today and have found no great benifit in switching (very easy to import the ewallet data via a wizard)......2 years to late....as for SPB's other software such as the new mobile shell and phone tools .....awesome....keep those type of applications coming.

Even if I do decide to shift from FlexWallet to SpbWallet I have tons of data which will need to be ported.
Though SpbWallet comes with an import wizard to facilitate those shifting from FlexWallet, but this procedure first requires the desktop companion in FlexWallet to export data in XML format. This export process in FlexWallet Desktop is not working for me and causes my notebook to hang.
Anybody tried this and facing similar problems.

Hmmmm... I'm working on a review of Spb Wallet and the documentation I read said to export in Text format, not XML. I agree that having to use the Desktop version to do the import is not optimal, but it seemed to work fine for me, going from Code Wallet to Spb Wallet.

For wallet-type info, I have used Illium's offerings for as long as I can remember. I use eWallet for secure personal data like credit cards and accounts and such, and also critical work-related data. I also use ListPro for less-critical things and lower security level stuff like my inumerable website passwords. Both programs have their quirks though. I've been very happy with almost every SPB app I've ever tried, so maybe I'll give this a shot too. I just wonder why they would spend the effort on a niche that's already pretty saturated (eWallet, CodeWallet, FlexWallet, HandyWallet, iLock, StarWallet, etc.)

Our XML export is actually handled by a small utility that takes SQLIte to XML for (mostly not written by us), but we're looking into that issue. The problem seems to be some data the utility does not care for or understand.
On the flip side, we have been working on the next major release of FlexWallet now for a little while now so we should have some really nice things to show in the not too distant future.
