Computex: Mio A702 Packs GPS and a 3.2MP Camera
The Mio A702 is another device on display at Computex 2007. Scheduled for a release sometime in the next half year, the Windows Mobile 6 Professional device includes GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a numeric keypad, a scroll wheel, and a microSD slot. Sadly, that's about all the information we have to work with at the moment. We'll keep you updated with the rest in the not-too-distant future.

I've being using Mio A701 for over a year now. Phone function is avarage, GPS is very good, customer support is non existing, but what is amazing is its endurance! It survived several drops from about 6 feet (my ear) to asphalt, hot coffee, cold soda, rain and snow, and it still works  Even it has all its body in dents and scratches, screen is as new (thanks to screen protector), no noticable damage to functionality. So if you are looking for "ragged" device, that maybe your choice.

Like virain said... Mitac customer support is non existing... so if your Mitac device has a bug you must fix it yourself or maybe wait if somebody fix it. And I think all Mio devices has many many many bugs because Mitac ROM development team is absolutelly unskilled full of amateurs. They have only very skilled designers but that is ALL!!! So please my friends be smart! Never buy Mitac devices! Try E-Ten (in my opinion the best support especially with ROM releasing) or HTC (also not bad but I think E-Ten is much better).
BTW I have also A701... with custom ROM R024-Basic from well known ROM developer OKI... Mitac ROM development team should learn from him but I don't think they would understand :/

A very impressive looking phone. Looks like it's got great potential. Unfortunately, those are some not so great comments regarding the company. Reputation and support are very important parts of any tech purchase.
