Gigabyte GSmart i300 GPS PDA Phone
"The GSmart i300 is here! To be more precise it is available at PhoneDaily, it's the new GSmart i300 running Windows Mobile 6. We have more infos on this product right HERE."
Nice specs, but I'm not sure about the looks. The GSMart i300 sports a 520MHz processor, 256MB ROM, USB 2.0, 2MP camera and GPS of course. Along with WM6 Pro, Gigabyte has added some cool apps, including remote control of the phone through your PC among other things. I'm going to take the list price quoted in the translated press release with a pinch of salt though - by my calculations, it's $2300 8O. Somebody please tell me I'm wrong.

I am sure it is wrong. You did the right translation, but I know this device and it will probably be sold around the 750 USD, so the number in the article seems to be wrong.

Looks like you converted assuming it was the Chinese yuan, but if you convert using Taiwan's yuan you get about $540 US. Sounds much better

Taiwan doesn't use Yuan, they use Taiwanese Dollars - though maybe that's a problem with the translation more than anything else. Thanks!
