the::unwired's E-TEN Glofiish X500+ Gallery
"Following my earlier Glofiish X500+ unboxing experience, here we go with a couple of detailed shots of E-TEN's latest Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone/Pocket PC Phone Edition. This unique VGA Pocket PC Phone Edition features Windows Mobile 6 and the VGA screen definitely benefits from Microsoft's latest Windows Mobile version since the 2.8" screen looks crispy and makes it using it a pleasure. The housing is a kind of soft-touch finishing (similar to the Samsung SGH-i600/BlackJack or HTC Excalibur) which definitely feels nice and keeps the device safely in the hand as well as it keeps away finger prints."
Have your eye on the X500+? Then take a look at the::unwired's latest gallery. Except for a VGA display and a few extra applications, the X500+ is essentially identical to the X500, so if you own the latter and can resist four times the resolution, you may want to wait for a more compelling reason to upgrade.

Just a word of warning, if the G-500 that I've had for a year now is any indication, E-TEN makes some VERY crappy hardware.
Be forewarned.
If you have any doubt, ya wanna buy my G-500?

wow, that's one sexy device. If a US carrier offered one of those... I'd be one of the first to sign a new 2 year contract!
though I wont hold my breath...

Is the new X500+ actually the X800 we were hearing so much about in the start of this year?

No, two different devices. The X800 supports 3.5G, which the X500+ does not.
