Iambic Launches BillRate For Windows Mobile
"Many professionals (i.e. consultants, lawyers, accountants, architects) know that providing excellent service is one sure-fire way to run a successful (and profitable) business. Another contributing factor is having the ability to properly track time and expenses--Its something that needs to be done, but in a way that doesnt detract from the time spent servicing the client. Thats where BillRate fits in. It lets you harness the power of your Windows Mobile Pocket PC based smartphone or handheld device to record time, expenses and mileage while on the go. "
BillRate is a time, mileage and expense tracking solution for Windows that fills a need for charge-by-the-hour professionals. Iambic have taken the logical step forward in providing a Windows Mobile client that's strong enough to stand on its own, though you can get both for a more complete solution. Billrate for WM can be tried out or purcahsed for $29.95 through our affiliate link. You can also opt for the Windows/Windows Mobile bundle for $49.95 here.

This is not a new product, this is just a product under a new name. It used to be TwoPeaks BillRate, but iambic bought TwoPeaks (see www.twopeaks.com/BillRate). It is a good (and proven) product.

One issue: Two Peaks was selling the bundle for $19.95. Iambic's version costs 250% as much.

Why so much?
As pointed out in the previous post, Iambic is charging 250% more for the same product that Two Peaks previously sold. You're probably wondering why that is?
Simple. When Iambic came to terms with Two Peaks, lawyers were involved. Since they were all using the product, when they totalled up the bill, they discovered that they'd need to charge 250% in order to recoup the expenses and begin showing a profit immediately.
Who is the target audience for this product? Could it be ... SATAN?

My mistake. Iambic is now charging 300% as much as Two Peaks did for the same product.
