Default Willcom Posts a Teaser: "X" Coming Soon

http://x-w.jp/

Willcom has a new "X" PDA Phone (unrelated to the other "X") that's set to be released in the near future. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures and the information is as vague as ever. What do we know? "X" will have a certain bling element to it, be 23.9% smaller, 10.3% lighter, and 14.8% thinner than... something, and according to Akihabara News, run Windows Mobile 6. And the rest is left to one's imagination.

i guess i wouldnt really care - i just dumped by Willcom WS004SH for that released by Softbank (the HTC Hermes)...

in this "era" of inter-connectedness, the Willcom network is just FAR TOO slow to be usable! they advertise 128kbps - but you only get less than 50kbps (c'mon, this isnt the age of modems anymore)... they advertise 204kbps in the main areas like Tokyo, you get only 70kbps... at least for Softbank, even though the rates are much higher (maxes out at about US$86/month), it is well worth the speeds - advertised at 1.8mbps, but you usually get about 700kbps!!!

c'mon Willcom - if i want an information machine, i wouldnt want to spend hours just waiting for a page to load... :devilboy:

do ramp up your network...
