It is a very nice upgrade. My favorite new feature has to be the improved one handed navigation. You can minimize the header and totally control the popup calendar with out touching the screen now!

I really like SPB Diary and this version is top-notch. But I always end up uninstalling because the phone functions on my iPAQ hw6945 are significantly slower with a mega-plugin like this one. Incoming calls take a good 5 seconds to draw the popup window and start ringing (you can watch in real-time slo-mo). Usage of Diary is quite acceptable, however, so I still endorse SPB Diary!
On a faster device, it would be perfect. The custom tabs are welcome, and one-handed operation is first-class.
Also, it could be coincidence, but after I uninstalled Diary, ClearType would no longer work on my device and I had to hard reset to get it working again.
