Paragon Releases Two New Games
"Paragon Software (SHDD) introduced two new casual games for Windows Mobile Pocket PC based devices. Unlike intricate roleplaying games that require maximum concentration, Top Hits Solitaire Collection and Another Ball are especially intended to forget about daily problems or simply spend the time during long waiting."
Find that you have some time on your hands? Then you might want to check out Paragon Software's two new game releases. Top Hits Solitaire Collection is a bundle of 15 solitaire card games, including Freecell, Klondike, Spider, Pyramid, Joker, Carpet, and Yukon, among others. The Collection includes some extensive customisation options. Another Ball is an Arkanoid clone, with 33 levels and a random plotline with every new game (!). You can download trials or purchase through our affiliate links:
Top Hits Solitaire Collection available for $9.95. Another Ball available for $14.95.

A review of the new version of Another Ball:
It was half a year ago that I reviewed Paragon Software's breakout / arkanoid clone Another Ball, then, in version 1.8. Now that the developers have just updated it to version 2.0, adding, for example VGA support, I've given the new version a thorough try.
First and foremost, I need to point out that the new version is more or less a direct port / reimplementation of the Palm OS version, as opposed to the old, 1.8 one, which was a genuine Pocket PC (Windows Mobile) game. This, unfortunately, also means that, while it does support VGA on VGA devices (in Portrait mode only), it completely lacks in-game music. What is more, while the Palm OS version does support stereo sound, this one doesn't - version 1.8 still did.
All in all, in my opinion, the new version is NOT worth upgrading to, particularly if you liked the music in the 1.x series. Also, it's, in my opinion, not really worth comparing to major, much more sophisticated (existing and VERY good in-game music) titles like Acky's Breakout. That is, this title shouldn't be the first game you check out, should you want to play a breakout clone. Go for Acky instead - or, for that matter, the latest (1.1 as of now) version of BallRush Aqua. They are way better.
