Toshiba G900's WVGA Display in Pictures
Both Akihabara News and the::unwired have posted a handful of pictures showing off the gorgeous 3" WVGA (800 x 480) touch screen of the recently-announced Toshiba G900. Can you list any benefits of such a display? Less Today screen scrolling and widescreen DVD rips come to mind.

I am drooling, but it seems the fingerprint scanner is badly placed, between the screen and the keyboard. Wouldn't this mean that if you wanted to use the security, you'd have to open the device everytime you wanted to use it, even just to make a phone call? Or am I missing something?
That said, I'd still buy it in a heartbeat! It certainly beats the Iphone, IMO.

As a former Toshiba e740 owner...I'll never subject myself to a Toshiba PDA ever again.

It is very pretty and I love the fact that it's a widescreen. But even with that high resolution, I wish it was 4". Every time I pick up my 2.8" PPC6700 screen I realize how much I miss having a usable display.

I really really want this.
I just hope it won't be too expensive, like with Flame and Athena...

The wide screen (with keyboard) will make reading and editing documents on the go more easy.
Like others, I'd prefer a larger screen with this resolution. But mostly I am excited to see tha thte manufacturers have actually been paying attention, and they are beginning to release larger, higher definition screens.
Not everyone wants a postage-stamp screen!!!

As a former Toshiba e800 and current Toshiba e830 owner, I'll definitely consider another Toshiba PDA. Support is lacking but Toshiba has been innovative in the past. I just wish it was a 4" VGA screen.

It also said on pdadb.net that it's wifi is b,e what happened to g? I mean I know the need and use for e is increasing but I still want g, even if it doesn't yield high results. Maybe that new chip they were talking about where they integrate wifi, radio, and bt?
