Yeah, but they're drummers, man. You could feed this into their ears - heck, you could hard-wire it into their brains and - for many of them - it would make no discernable difference. Studio software, where you can get the drum beat to be consistent and even to lead or lag the bar line when you want it to is a revelation, but no use live, unfortunately. And light and shade... don't even talk to me about that.
Do I sound a tad bitter? 10 years behind a sound desk has permananently marked me :roll:

Eeeekk...$16 for a metronome program...you could buy a real one for that price. It seems like a pretty basic program to be charging that much.

Hah. Actually, I think it would take an exceptionally good drummer to hear a click in their ear and NOT follow along with it...
