Picapage Mobile: A New Way to Search
Picapage Mobile is a new mobile search engine optimized for Windows Mobile 5.0. However, unlike most other mobile search engines that display results only in text, Picapage Mobile uses favicons to get the message across, with support for multi-directional D-pad navigation. Grab your Pocket PC or Smartphone and point it to mobile.picapage.com. Bear in mind that it's still in beta, so expect a bug or two.

Tried it
After some initial intrigue, I gave it a visit. It had trouble with many favicons and just showed them as smiley faces. It had short descriptions of each icon, but I had trouble navigating through the descriptions without actually going to the site.
A neat idea, but I don't know if it is practical.

I like the concept of the site too
and I agree the smileys are not clear. the guy said it's a beta, maybe this is a bug... I'll keep using it for the next couple of days as my search

I think the smileys present sites that don't have favicon, actually i like this search, it's fun and colorful.
