PDAgold.com Reviews the HTC TyTN
"The funny name HTC TyTN belongs to (probably) the very best Pocket PC with an integrated cell phone you can get nowadays. The main attraction: UMTS (with support for HSDPA) alongside other cool features, such as WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, two digital cameras, a handy slide-out keyboard, nice display, scroll wheel control, and a microSD slot. All that and more in this new gadget we are talking about today."
There are reviews, and then there are REVIEWS (big, bold, and full of information). PDAgold.com's two-part review of the HTC TyTN falls into the latter category and is definitely worth a read if you're looking for a new device this Christmas.

awesome review, awesome machine. If I ever jump back into the PDA world, this one is it, budget be darned. It would feel weird going from my VGA Axim to a QVGA machine though.
One thing that concerned me was his comment on the "atrocious" video playback. Do other people have the same experience? Would that include even third party video players?
I was very impressed by the quality of the video that it took (though the audio wasn't anything to squeal about), though I have to ask about the strange "square" resolution they were taken in. Is that the only option for video?
