Who doesn't like free software? I picked that screen shot because it's so incredibly cheesy and gave me a chuckle.

But how do you play it? I can't find any instructions. There's a Hint button but I don't see that it does anything.
I haven't played this sort of game before and I don't understand what to do. When I click adjacent icons they temporarily swap places. Sometimes a bunch of icons shift around and I get points, but I don't know what the pattern is that causes this.
I'm sure this sounds stupid to a lot of you, but I'm serious. I'm not much of a game player so there must be something about this sort of game that is obvious to everyone except me.

you need to form rows or columns of 3 or more of the same items. You do so by swapping an item to an adjacent cell, horizontally, vertically or even diagonally. BTW this is the only such program that allows diagonal movements. Other games only allow the other 2. When the swap is completed if a row of 3 to 5 identical items is formed then they disapear and every item above them fall down to take their place; this can result in new groups of identical item and they disapear too.
You can swap by taping an item and the cell to which you want to move it or you can slide one item towards the target cell. Vertical and horizontal slidings are easy, diagonal sliding must be precise and centered or you'll end up swapping the wrong items horizontally or vertically instead.
Some programs requires you to wait until the animation is finished, but this one allows you to swap while other items still move.
The Grinch comes in to bother you and stops you from aligning items, sometimes just where you wanted. It also removes an item where it appeared and replaces it with another. If you can destroy items above or below the Grinch you get extra points too I think.
The rotating snowflake stops you from making swaps too.
You can start with the easy game that has no time limit. It will play until there are no possible swap.
Timed game starts at half the clock. Hesitations decreases time and fast efficient swaps gets you more time as well as points.

My wife and I have played this game for quit some time, and love it.
I installed the new version on my wifes PDA with no issues, but can't seem to get thre registration process to work properly on my square screen iPAQ 6500. Nice that they provided so many versions, and all for the same price!
