GearDiary Takes a Close Look at a Tiny Case: The Vaja MiniSD x2
"Enamored by the scent and the quality of the XDA Atom case, I decided to order another from Vaja to complement my device case. As one who carries multiple MiniSD cards with me (Im one of those who keep their music on a wholly separate card), I decided the logical choice was a MiniSD case. After spending a bit of time pondering my leather color choices and options on the Vaja website, I placed my order and soon received the new case. Ah, the wonderful smell of leather once again flows from my desk!"
My first Vaja was a used case for my Jornada 568. Even with a little wear, it smelled wonderful coming out of the box. I'll have to admit: I did inhale. In the review, Clinton Fitch liked the quality and size of the Vaja MiniSD x2. I'd be afraid I would lose the case and the cards in it! Many of us have purchased cases for our PDAs, but have you ever bought a nice case for your memory cards or other accessories?

I have these iPorter xSD cases, though they're definitely not as sleek as the Vaja ones.

Nor as expensive, either. It has that military look. If you needed to take SD cards to a Halo party, the iPorter would be it!

I guess it all depends. If you're going to get a case for your SD cards, it might as well look nice, unless price is a more important factor. Mine is cheap and roomy and decidedly unsleek.

I can't see buying a case for my cards at all. I would expect the PDA case to have a slot or I would buy a larger capacity card and only use the one card.

My Lowepro case is large enough to tuck in spare PDA batteries and even a spare for my digital camera. My PDA case has room for cards, but no separate space for cards, so...

I have the 4 SD version of this case, and it is worth the money. The retention mechanism is the same as the one in your devices (ie, it has that nice, springy eject mechanism), it feels durable, and it is a hard-shell case. The only real gripe I have with it is that I don't want to just toss it in a bag or pocket with some other stuff for fear of scratching it. :worried:

Sure, but only the larger 4 card size. Go ahead and get a new card or two and slip them in the slots. So kind of you to think of me. Send it to....
