Default Dopod Introduces BlackBerry Connect for Windows Mobile

http://www.dopodasia.com/resource/s..._web/index.html

"Dopod International Corporation and Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect software on the 838Pro and the C720W devices for customers in Asia. Through the existing licensing relationship between High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) and RIM, Dopod International will offer BlackBerry Connect to enable customers of the Windows Mobile-based 838Pro Pocket PC and the C720W smartphone to access popular BlackBerry services with support for both BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service."

If you own Dopod's 838 Pro Pocket PC Phone Edition or C720W Smartphone (or you're geeky enough to have both), you can now access BlackBerry services from your Windows Mobile-based device via BlackBerry Connect. That includes push e-mail, remote lookup, and a few other bits and pieces. Head over to Dopod's BlackBerry Connect web page for more information.

You need a Dopod account to download it, and in order to create a Dopod account, you need a valid Dopod IMEI.

Assuming you COULD download the application, do you think RIM would limit who could use the software? I would love to have my Qtek 9100 connect to my BES so I can have true wireless connetivity to my Notes environment.
