Screenshots For 3D Doom For Windows Mobile
I love to see the capabilities of our beloved...er, efficient pocket companions being stretched to the limit. Menneisyys has reported that a port of Doom for Windows Mobile is in the works, optimised for the 2700G graphics accelerator - screenshots from the port are now available for viewing. I wish more PDAs came with the 2700G, or any other decent 3D accelerator for that matter. Please wipe up the drool before leaving the house, thanks.

The demon in the last picture is a little box-like, but otherwise, it's all very cool.

Geez, the last time I played Doom was when it was known as Castle Wolfenstein on the Apple IIe back in the mid eighties when I was in high school
Back then, there were no demons, just SS guards and the goal was to get to the "final" room to kill Hitler with a bomb. Actually, now that I think of it, SS gaurds and demons are the same thing prety much.

The mobile games scene might change dramatically once more manufacturers incorporate the new GoForce chipsets.
