Default Vaja's New HTC Horizontal Pouch

http://www.vajacases.com/affiliate&ID=100

I personally am a huge fan of pocketable case solutions, but I know a number of you prefer to put the device on your belt. If you're interested in doing so with one of the newer HTC phones, you'll want to check out this new Vaja horizontal pouch, designed for the P3300/3600, TyTN, Hermes, Prophet, Magician, or Tornado. (And no, I can't keep track of the names anymore, either...)

As usual, you'll pay the Vaja premium, although this case is noticeably more affordable than some of the other new Vaja fare. Looking for more details on the case? Hit the above link and navigate to the Mobile/HTC section of Vaja's website (man, their new Flash is spiffy!) and/or check out Judie's review on Gear Diary for a closer look. [Affiliate]

I read Judie's review the day it came out and I ordered one of these a few days ago. I'm not typically a fan of slip cases, but this one's a Vaja.

And for me in the UK it's another $20+ for delivery. Have to stick with the basic case that comes with MDA Vario II.

The design is nice, but still a little pricy even for a Vaja case.
At the end, it's still an universal pouch case, not a customised case for a specific device.

I woud like to see a pouch case specific to the Prophet, with a 18 mm width specific to this unit.
The case here is supposed to accomodate devices with width ranging from 17mm up to 22mm. The thinner devices will certainly moves a lot inside the case.

It would be nice to be able to customize the width of the case, the same way you can choose the size of the memory card pocket -great customization by the way with the ever changing card type-

I already asked vaja for it when they rolled out their case for the Wizard
-nearly the same case as this one, with the antenna cutout for US version of the Wizard - but was responded that it was not planned.

Perhaps you could mention that the next time you receive a some PR stuff from them Janak - It will certainly have more weight from you  -

Three words.....expensive, expensive, expensive.

I have 2-3 Vaja cases which I have bought over the years. Each has cost well over $100CND, They are cool looking, and very well made. I also have several Sena, Covertec, Krusell, and others. They too are very cool looking and very well made. As an example, my wife has a Sena case that I paid 30 bucks for. It is on her Dell x3i which she has used daily for several years now. It has bounced around in her purse, her laptop bag, and banged around at work in an emergency department of a hospital. In other words it has seen extreme use. it still looks like new. The quality is proven, plus it has style.

Personally I find Vaja cases to be very stiff, and bulky, and definitely do not warrant the exorbitant cost since the quality is no better than much less pricey products that also look very nice.

Default love it

I ordered mine the day I bought my 6700. I love it. It's my first belt case, and my first pouch case, I was nervous, but it's solid. I wear it on my belt while on my motorcycle, and the magnetic holders are solid. If it can handle that, it can handle just about anything.

Vaja must be keeping us motorcycle types in mind when designing 'em!

Sticky side down.
