Dopod 838 Pro Reviewed
"The combination of Windows Mobile 5, a slideout keyboard and zippy performance makes this the best mobile device I've ever used. And I've used quite a few - see a list here. I've had my fair share of "slim" devices, yet I don't find the 838 Pro to be too bulky. Sure, it could be slimmer, but I'm more than happy to deal with the bulk for all the features it offers."
Jenneth has put together a nice, detailed review of the Dopod 838 Pro (HTC Hermes). Whether you're looking to upgrade your HTC Wizard or you're entering the Windows Mobile arena for the first time, be sure to give this review a read.

OT:
Yay! It's Lost day! Wednesday should be officially changed to Lostday.
OnT: I like it, except of course for the non-SD slot and the less-than-optimal headphone/sync connector/charge connector configuration.

The use of microSD is tolerable. I just picked up an HTC Breeze, and think I'll soon stomach the purchase of at least a 1GB card. I checked prices recently, and they aren't as bad as people make them out to be. Of course, it doesn't help that I already have a wad of miniSD and SD cards all over the place.
