Default WebIS FlexMail 2007 Reviewed

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3391

"FlexMail 2007 was developed by Web Information Solutions who is well known for its PIM replacement PocketInformant. FlexMail replaces the built in Pocket Outlook. It is meant to manage your E-Mails on the Pocket PC. The protocols POP3, IMAP and MAPI are supported and in addition you can even connect via a SOCKS proxy server. SSL encryption is of course also implemented. Those who do not need the SOCKS communications may want to know why they should buy an additional E-Mail program. This test should answer that question."

One of the better email clients gets the going over by theunwired.com. Verdict: Great features and UI, easy to use, but has some niggling bugs. One big whopper of a bug though is that new mail notifications don't appear to work 8O. This could be an isolated case, but with WebIS behind this application, you can be confident that all the bugs are going to get squashed pronto. If you're looking for a great all-in-one email client with fantastic support, you can give it a trial or purchase it through our affiliate store.

There's no bug with new mail notifications! This feature has worked perfectly since it was implemented about a year ago.

I'd tend to agree - it's rather an outrageous bug to let past in a retail version. As I said, I thought it was a potentially isolated case with the review device.
