Joopz Anyone? Web Texting & More "MobileSphere announced Joopz, a new web-based text messaging service that enables "web texting" -- two-way communications from the Web to any mobile phone for free. The new service allows users to send and receive messages to individuals and groups, while enabling recipients to respond directly to the originating PC, Mac, PDA or mobile phone and to group member mobile phones. Joopz web texts can be sent from any web-enabled device worldwide to any U.S. or Canadian mobile phone. Joopz also features text reminders, scheduled message delivery, message forwarding and additional value-added services."

Joopz looks like a pretty interesting web service designed to allow web texting (similar to an IM only with SMS) and other neat services including message forwarding and group messaging. Anyone Joopz'ing?

I signed up for this to try it out. It works well, I am able to send and receive replies nearly instantly, as long as the page refreshes correctly.

Has anyone else tried this out?

Doesnt work well with my Sprint 6700. If i get a textmessage from Joopz it comes from the default 6245 number so I cant just hit reply.

But on plain old phones it works pretty cool. Saves me some text messages.
