Apparently, the Treo 750v is Upgradeable to HSDPA
"There's been a lot of debate about whether/if the Treo 750v is going to support HSDPA....I just spoke with the Head of Palm's Engineering team who confirmed that YES, the Treo is upgradeable to HSDPA. Palm and Vodafone will announce availability of the upgrade when it's ready!"
Great news from the man himself, Jason Langridge. I wish the Treo 750v came out of the box with HSDPA, and I hope any US release does, because after having tried 3G I can't go back. We'll have to wait and see how this actually pans out, though -- will it be an end-user-installable firmware update as implied? (Oh, and is it just me, or is this business of carrier exclusives really annoying?)

If ONLY it were as thin as the HTC Excalibur. The TREO is NICE and I think I'd like the buttons more... But it's 22.8mm thick versus the Excalibur's 12.8mm. Bummer.
3G? I'm sure it's nice.. But for eMail and minor surfing, EDGE is perfectly fine.
