Can't argue with the price, right? Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine provide a very cool round-up of about 10 free PDA-browser friendly weather services. Weather tracking and forecast solutions have become very popular with PDAs and Smartphones, so I'd imagine this would be of interest to many of you. Give it a read and give us your thoughts!

Top link = Latest 4 radar images
Midle link = Lightningbolts for the last 7 days

I'm going to add this information to my review over at PPC mag, so thanks mucho TOCA. Props also to PocketPCThoughts because I probably learned of some of these here at some time or another. I really like the lightning detection, which is something I'm going to do renewed search on (I had forgotten what a valuable tool that is). A lot of weather stations that aren't equipped with radars used to rely quite heavily on LDS back in the day. I remember we had a national LDS network that you could use to very effectively track thunderstorms (Of course , I think it had to be cloud-to-ground strikes for the sensors to pick it up).
