Default Zenum's Opus Opteris Pocket PC Phone

http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/...pc-in-november/

"Don't shoot us -- we're just the messengers on this one, but an outfit going by the name "Zenum" is claiming that they'll be releasing their rather comely "Opus Operis" Pocket PC Phone Edition device come this November. If real (and we really have no basis to form an opinion one way or another on this), it's shaping up to be a hot handset, rocking a full keyboard, 128MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, 802.11g, Bluetooth with A2DP, miniSD expansion, a 2-megapixel shooter, and a landscape-mounted QVGA display, all in an attractive, thin (looking) shell."

Engadget Mobile has the beans on what has to be the most unique Pocket PC I've ever seen, and at first glance, it looks really very slim and eye-catching. However, I'm not sure how slim it actually is; have you noticed every shot is at an extreme angle? Additionally, that keyboard looks... suspiciously difficult to type on. Finally, the unit doesn't support GSM 850 nor EDGE, so this won't be practical in North America. Still, it's got catchy looks, and I'm glad to see more deviation from the standard Pocket PC layout. Time will tell how good this unit is -- November is the speculated release date. Alas, Zenum's own site has no additional information yet.

Something strikes me as suspicious. A person claiming to have inside information about this supposed company says the device is coming in November with 3G support, but design isn't finalized which is why the keyboard looks so poor, or so he claims.

I'm beginning to suspect this product is a hoax created by an amateur product designer looking to gain notoraity.

Concidering the website has no real information you are may be right. Nice looking device but even if real I just can't imagine typing on that keyboard. Even the memory card slot looks like a SD not MiniSD.

Looks like this is a "3D virtual product design" according to the bio on this page. Too bad, looks nice, but that keyboard would need work.
