Blackberry Pearl Goes After Windows Mobile
"The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone is one of the worlds smallest smartphones and packs all of the power of BlackBerry. It comes complete with digital camera, multimedia capabilities and expandable memory. "
It looks like RIM is going after the Windows Mobile market, especially the Q, with their latest release. In addition to the features common to all Blackberry's, the Pearl has:
Instant Messaging. Web browser. Camera. Media Player. Audio and video playback in a variety of formats. BlackBerry Maps, the best way to find your way.* 64 MB of memory and expandable memory via microSD card.
Both Fox News and the Wall Street Journal have favorable reviews of the device. Of course, Microsoft isn't going to let this one go unanswered.

Can't wait.....
Just can't wait for it to hit Germany. Hopefully T-Mobile Germany will sponsor this device.

Yep, I've been following the Pearl for a few weeks and I just got the email from T-Mobile today that it was released. I was actually planning on getting one, possibly two (one for my fiancee), so if I do, I'll let you all know how it is.
Oh, and here's the Gizmodo article about it, including a nice, big picture:
