Default Hermes Tweaker Compiles Your Favorite Registry Hacks

http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3256

"fit4cat Hermes Tweaker was recently released for the HTC Hermes (aka O2 Xda trion, T-Mobile MDA Vario II, Orange SPV M3100 or HTC TyTN). Basically it's a compilation of known registry hacks as you can find it over at Xda-developers.com but as I said, it's all together in one handy application and you don't have to fire up your Registry Editor."

The love for the successor of the Wizard has spawned a nice utility that puts all the mostly-Hermes-specific (or whatever you like to call it) registry hacks at your fingertips. Can't beat free (just forum registration required), so head over to pick up the utility and get more for your Hermes.

Does anyone know if this program will work on devices other than the Hermes? I know how to do most of what I saw of the program on my own using PHM Reg Edit but this would be more convenient...

If you "remove Wireless Manager Tray icon" and that is the only icon at the bottom of the today screen - will this free up the space letting other today plugins use it? If so, I want that reg hack for the hx4700.

Hmmm, it has an option for show shift/caps state. I wonder if this would work on an apache. That would help a lot.

I hear ya, JKG. I tried doing the hack for caps manually, and it did nothing for me.
