Use Traffic Vizzion to View Traffic Conditions Ahead
"How many times have you found yourself stuck in a traffic jam, construction zone, or even a blizzard, and wished you could have seen the road conditions up ahead before you got there? Radio reports and roadside signs are all well and good, but all too often you're already caught up in a problem before you hear about it. Traffic Vizzion (pronounced "vision") makes it possible to keep an eye on the road ahead by bringing live images from thousands of traffic cameras located across North America and the UK to your cell phone or Pocket PC. And, uniquely, if you have a built-in or external GPS, Traffic Vizzion patent pending technology can automatically show cameras near to your current location, or along the road directly ahead of you, long before you get there!"
Traffic Vizzion only requires a wireless data connection, though additional value is provided if you have a GPS receiver as well. With GPS, you can leverage downloadable Yahoo! maps to view your current position at all times and see where nearby cameras are situated. Unfortunately, this service is not available everywhere; consult this page first to determine if your desired city is supported.
Trial service is available. Standard subscription cost is $5/month or $39/year. Both Pocket PC and Windows Smartphone devices are supported. If anyone out there has every tried this great-sounding service (or something similar), give us your thoughts!

Is it too much to ask for an all in one solution where the GPS reciever also gets some kind of traffic information from the satellite and this information be updated real time on the satellite and thus makes the GPS software ask if you want ti reroute your current route avoiding high congestion areas?
I just want somerthing that 1) doesn't require another plan 2) works in conjunction with a the purchased GPS product (as having to flip between GPS and this seems a little dangerous when on the road).
