Default Alright, But Where Is The OK Button?

http://blogs.msdn.com/jasonlan/archive/2006/08/26/724967.aspx

Jason Langridge has posted a shot of a Fiat steering wheel in a car model that has been fitted with Windows from the Windows Automotive group.

I just hope it isn't a 7 click process to close an application!

Default Re: Alright, But Where Is The OK Button?

I have Blue&Me in my new FIAT Grande Punto Sporting. It one of the best and cheapest integrated Bluetooth kit. Works like a charm with my i-mate JAMin. Its voice recognation is top notch. Once you paired your phone, B&Me copies your contacts, and you can either use the vioce activation, or the buttons on the wheel. By the way, there are 4 other buttons on the other side of the wheel: Up, Down, Call, OK. And now it has an SMS reader software available as well.

I'm almost afraid to ask - what's Ctrl+Alt+Del? The Windows and Mute buttons, plus the horn? :P

Probably used to forcefully terminate all car processes should the car fail to shut off ignition at your command...

Seriously though, the fact people are going to be pressing the Start button during driving is bothering me a little. 8O
