Default ReenSoft PIEPlus 2.1 Released

http://reensoft.com/PIEPlus/

ReenSoft has updated PIEPlus with bug fixes and a few new features. Werner (a.k.a. Menneisyys) has given it a huge tick of approval, and thinks it's the best Internet Explorer Mobile plug-in around. Interested? Head over to ReenSoft for a free trial version.

Default Very Nice

I totaly agree. I have just installed the upgrade and everything seems realy smooth. What I like:
1.The ability to scroll on the whole screen via touch either finger or stylus.
2.U can remap hardware buttons when in PIE Plus, I like the screen rotation button.
3.multi tab like mozilla.
4.multi view options and url services.
5.very small foot print plug in, not a stand alone app.

I am very pleased with this app and the support from ReenSoft.
I wish they could make their other app that they have, the Outliner, more up to date with WM5, becuase that seems to be a pretty nice app also. I would like to use it as a list manager.

The hardware button mappings for press and hold don't seem to work for me. Whenever I change one mapping, the associated one also changes, e.g.
Changing Button 1 also changes Button 1 (hold), and is immediately reflected in the list.
I have a Dell Axim on WM2003. Is anyone else getting this problem?

I dont have that problem with an HTC TyTN. Do shoot them an email, from my experience they are very responsive and will try to sort your problem out.

Sorry, after further investigation, it only happens when I keep one of the pair as <No change>. So adding a function to Button 1 (Hold) will kill off Button 1 to <None>, and then setting <No change> back to either one of them will change both of them.

I'll send them an email, but I'd like to know if it's just my PDA that's doing that.

I checked the issue and the issue occurs in the same way you wrote. I'll fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for letting me know the issue.

I'm currently running a test of this program, and NetFront 3.3, for a danish PPC site, and so far I'm verry impressed by PIE+, it's just as feature rich as NF has allways been, but a lot easyer to use, since most of the needed shortcuts are directtly available, withot going through the Options button, and full screen browsing is allso better in PIE+, because you can turn it on and off, by tapping a small icon.

The only thing missing, is support for JAVA Applets, but then again, how often do you use that?

Oh! Allmost forgot the price 8O Way cheaper than NF 3.3 8)

Way to go ReenSoft 8)

Reensoft,

I found a small bug. When you hide the addressbar and scoll all the way up the page, it seems the drop down list used for the adress bar displays itself. It shows up as a blank box.

But for the average Joe, surfing the news, and some other waves of the net, on his PPC, it's possible to live without JAVA support in the browser.

Btw. do you know anny websites, where i can test the Coffeecup of NF 3.3? I've only found this one, so far: http://paris-live.com/
