I had been exclusive to Handango for many years but the download protection crap they are trying to pull has irritated me enough to not use them again. Being a software junkie, believe me when I say that's a BIG loss for them!!!

Everything you mentioned in the previous post regarding Handango I feel about Pocketgear but to a much higher degree of disdain. Twice they have stolen my money and I WILL NEVER buy anything from Pocketgear EVER again. On the flip side Handango has been trouble free for me.

Just to clarify. I purchased PocketTV browser and within 17 days the listings were discontinued and my only option was to purchase a 1 yr subscrption to get what I already had paid for (which I refused). Recently I purchased DVD to Pocket PC and it never worked once yet as is the norm at pocketgear they refused a refund. Unacceptable behavior that verges on theft.
I recommend avoiding Pocketgear/Motricity and Makayama.

I agree that I have had no problems with Handango either; I just feel like they don't care much about their customer's sometimes. Like that "download" protection bs. Never tried to get a refund or have them work with the developer as I usually went directly to the developer upon purchase to resolve 99% of the issues.
I'm sure I likely have issues with Pocketgear but I do like their layout a little better as of this time.

Mitch, I can say with a lot of experience that PocketGear and Handango both are about the same. In both cases above, its really up to the developer who lists on PocketGear to take care of the issue. I get equal amount of complaints and praise for both stores and we sell about the same amount of volume through both. So just my two cents - even though neither of the above are my products I personally would hope you get them resolved.
