Orange Reveals the SPV M3100 (HTC Hermes)
The MoDaCo community was fortunate enough to have Orange as a key contributor in their annual Summer Event. Not only did attendees receive a free SPV C600 Smartphone, they also had the opportunity to see and play with Orange's upcoming Pocket PCs (the SPV M3100) and Smartphones (SPV C100, SPV C700, SPV F600, and BlackJack). How does one get their hands on one of these? This would work on the US Cingular network I presume, correct? Any suggestions? Thaks.

I have this device (HTC Hermes) already. It is sold as XDA Trion by O2 in Germany. I have looked into the network settings and it supports also UMTS at 850 and 1900 MHz. So it should work on the UMTS network of Cingular in the US too.

If I use the SPV M3100 on T-Mobile here in USA, Do you guys thinkI'll get good reception? I live in Chicago.
Also, Do I have to imprt it to where I live?
I am deciding between this phone and the Nokia N80. I never used a Windows Mobile 5.0 phone before but this one really seems interesting to me. I've been using Symbian S60 always.
