Vaja Releases Treo T7 Silver, Unveils New Website
For the 700w owners out there: if you're looking for a classy case for your baby, I think I've found the one -- this new Vaja case with silver trimmings.
Looks fantastic, right? There is a catch, of course, and it is those three hundred and forty bills you'll fork over to Vaja to own one of these. $340! 8O I guess this is truly for the case connoisseur. Anyway, they have also refreshed their website while they were at it; I really like its new look and navigability. Now, if only I could afford more Vaja cases...  [Affiliate link]

The thing I like most about this case is how, after you finish using the bathroom, it wipes for you. Truly worth 340 smack-a-roos.

why bother with a case.. use it "naked" and if it scratches up, by a new replacement shell...??

$340 for protection? Considering a Treo 700w is available for as low as $399, you could almost get a new device if the old one broke. :P

I just spent $90 bucks on a customized yellow front and black backing on a Vaja case. Why is this one so much more?

$340? 8O And considering that this is an open-front case that doesn't really offer any protection, 8O 8O !
But I guess there are those of us who are willing to pay a premium for protection, and there are those of us who are willing to pay a premium for style.
Now if Vaja would release an i-Volution case for the JAMin, I'd be all over that! I consider the single best investment for my iPaq 5550 to be the i-Volution Morpheus IV that I bought for it.

It makes me a little curious as to how many cases Vaja has forecasted they'll sell.

I'm beginning to wonder about Vaja. Their latest releases appear to be all either iPod or Treo 700x cases. I wonder how many of the high-end iPods or Treo 700x's are actually sold in a given period, given that the Treo 700w is (afaik still) a Verizon exclusive, and 98% of all iPod ads I've seen lately are for the lower-end, higher-selling units.
I really, really wish that they would broaden their selection at least a little bit.

Yes.....since the sliding keyboard form factor is getting more popular (HTC TyTn etc) you'd think they would have more than just a pouch on offer......you have to take it out of the pouch each time you need to use it......and they have no plans to sell different cases for that type of phone device....
BTW - the site is just a little too hard to easily navigate I think.....you get thrown back to the main page a lot.

$ 340?? What were Vaja thinking? Everyone I knew that have a PDA/Smartphone scoff at buying a case costing more than $100, even less for $340. If the case if for Vertu phone, then it's different... but a Treo?
Maybe Vaja knew there's a rise in a number of millionaire in US..
