Unfortunately, not much more is known at this stage. It was first revealed in May 2005 as a concept device, but based on the reports coming out of Computex, it's now looking a little less 'concept-like'. It's still uncertain when and where this device will be released.

this thing is just a PDA! y does a VGA screen device MUST be a PDA ONLY (99% of the time), meaning it' NOT a pdaPhone. if u want a VGA pda, just get the Dell x51v, you can get a 4GB SD card for under 100buk now, or a 8GB CF for under 150$?

I really couldn't care less that it doesn't have a phone embedded - the number of times I use a phone in a day can be counted on the fingers of one hand. My current PDA is VGA as well, and it's got a much better screen and more RAM than the Dell. Oh, and I've got 9GB in it (courtesy of two slots and a microdrive), and I could use more storage space.

Of all the Phone Editions here only 1 is quad-band (I'm not counting the m600+).
I'm concerned that we may begin to see a strangle hold on the US market.

Re: Mobile-review.com's Gallery of Windows Mobile Devices at Computex
BCM Wigo 800 (Smartphone): GSM support, Wi-Fi, a 2.0-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 5.0.
BCM Wigo800 is using Windows CE Embedded to build their F/W but not Windows Mobile.
I believe they must have their reasons on this cuz as I know, it's not easy to use Embedded on F/W.
Also there must be difference between WinCE.NET and Windows Mobile right?
I wonder which kind of OS would u guys prefer to use on a phone?

Do you have any information that confirms this?
The images I've seen seem to show the Wigo 800 running Windows Mobile 5.0 (Smartphone). Here's an example.
