Default CalliGrapher 8.3 Released

http://www.phatware.com/calligrapher/index.html

"PhatWare Corporation, a leading provider of software products and professional services for mobile and desktop computers, announces CalliGrapher 8.3 for increased productivity when entering handwritten data on Windows Mobile devices. CalliGrapher 8.3 features new PenCommands and the ability to hide the Write Pad toolbar."

A new version of CalliGrapher is available. This popular SIP includes the PenCommander application, which features the bulk of the upgrades in this new release. You'll find new PenCommands that allow the dialing of phone numbers, the sending of messages (both SMS and e-mails), and the capturing of video and images with a built-in camera. A new option for hiding the Write Pad toolbar is also available.

A trial version of CalliGrapher 8.3 can be downloaded from our affiliate software store.

Tried it - then I found I couldn't use the SIP at all - it wouldn't load, even after a clean uninstall and reinstall.

I put Calli 8.2 on there, and the SIPs worked fine. Right now, PhatWare's yet to reply to my previous email for tech support on it.

Do you have many Today plug-ins enabled? If so, try disabling a couple and seeing if the v8.3 SIP works.

Just PocketBreeze, Today Panel Lite, and that's it. I had a PocketWeather tab in Pocketbreeze, but outside of that.... nada. It SHOWS the SIP in the selection menu, and says it's selected when you click at the bottom, with the arrow indicating the SIP is extended, but you can't use it - the menu buttons don't show, and it does nothing. Calligrapher 8.2 had no such issues when installed... although the text recognition worked as it took handwriting written in PhatPad and translated it into text without an issue.
