Which AKU Level Is Your Windows Mobile 5 Device?
http://channel9.msdn.com/wiki/default.aspx/MobileDeveloper.ListOfAKUs
Adaptation Kit Updates, or AKU's, are updates to Windows Mobile 5. For the most part, it doesn't really matter to the end user or even developer what AKU level is on the device unless there is a specific fix implemented in a particular AKU, or in the case of WM5, AKU2 is significant because it contains the MSFP, or Messaging and Security Feature Pack, which is how HTTP push is enabled for email, plus a whole lot of other goodies. So, which AKU is on your device? My K-Jam shows build 14847.2.0.0, and according to the chart linked to above, that makes AKU 2 for me. You can also get the AKU level programmatically. Details at the linked page.

My Qtek 9100 is the same - no surprise I guess as they are the same machine! What does AKU2.5 have in it that AKU2 doesn't - is that the BT upgrade?

Aren't the last three numbers in the build string the AKU version? That's what it's seemed to me so far, and Jason Langridge posted as such.

AKU2 is not yet out for the XV6700 (on Verizon); if you're using the PPC-6700, I do believe Sprint has the AKU2 ROM update available.
