PDAGold Reviews the Mio DigiWalker A701 PDA/Phone/GPS Device
"Today's addition to the list of reviewed products is Mio DigiWalker A701 by Mio Technology. The device combines a simple GSM/GPRS module and a sensitive SiRFstar III GPS receiver. The list of main features includes a powerful processor and sizeable memory, high-quality small-size display, good sound, excellent camera, impressive time on battery, and an integrated Bluetooth module for wireless communication... Mio has made a tremendous progress lately in the area of pocket computers, and its Mio DigiWalker A701 is a match for the best devices in its category."
That's certainly a very positive opening statement in favor of the Mio DigiWalker A701. This is yet another in an increasingly growing number of convergent PDA / Phone / GPS devices available on the market (unfortunately, like many of its competitors, there's also no WiFi in its arsenal of capabilities). It's a sleek-looking device and PDAGold has a plethora of pictures, screenshots, and snapshots if you're craving for them. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Just got mine on Friday
Just got mine this Friday, Excelent hardware, looks and feels "Elegant", at the moment I do not like the power off (you need to hold for 3 seconds the power button and then select either sleep, or turn off), no direct push email, rings too low. For the rest I love it (speed, display, gprs speed, gps).

Lucky you. what about sounds (receiving and call) quality. Is it loud enough and clear enough. Try the GPS yet? Sure would love to hear in depth review from you for the rest of us. About how much this costs? Thanks

Again? Why do manufacturers do that to themselves?

I got mine since a month:it's an excellent device with a performant GPS.
I would like a keyboard and a louder speaker.
The only alternative I see is the new 6915
