FCC Reveals the Samsung SGH-i770

Well, hello, hello - a new Samsung Pocket PC Phone Edition known as the i770. The FCC documents aren't too revealing. What's known is that the device features tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900)/GPRS/EDGE/W-CDMA support, Bluetooth, and Windows Mobile 5.0. There are also factors hinting at the inclusion of a SureType-style keyboard and a dual-pivot hinge for some swiveling and flipping action.

Tri-band?
What gives?
I'm getting a little concerned with this trend.

Try something more like, no 850MHz? What gives?
That blocks out a quarter of the GSM towers in the US.

The folks at PCS Intel seem to think that Sprint might be interested in the i770. Read Here Its towards the end of the article.

I'm looking to purchase a PDA phone within the next couple months. I was debating between the i730 and XV6700 for Verizon, but perhaps I should wait for the i770 seeing as though the i730 is almost a year old.
