Default What's New In ActiveSync 4.2 Beta Preview?

http://blogs.msdn.com/jasonlan/arch.../28/585488.aspx

"A number of you have contacted me with regards to what's new in Activesync 4.2 - well here are the key elements..."

Mr. Mobile himself, Jason Langridge, reveals some of the goodies available so far in the ActiveSync 4.2 beta preview that was publicly released just a few days ago. Remember, this is pre-release software, and more changes will likely be made before it gets it official stamp of approval, so it's obviously not recommended to roll this out if your business depends on it, if you've don't want to mess with an already good setup, and so on. That being said, if you're still looking to try it, this is where you should pick it up.

I read somewhere that Wi-Fi Sync was re-added. Apparently this was wrong.

And what is "Lunar Sync"?

Indeed, it is absent from v4.2.

I assume you're referring to the improved synchronisation of lunar calendar appointments? I believe it only affects people who make use of lunar calendars, such as the Chinese calendar or Islamic calendar. If you're not in that cohort, the added feature is of little concern.
