I downloaded the VGA trial from Handango but the installer failed because of an "invalid setup file". I found the extracted CAB file in the AS directory on ,y laptop. Tried using CABInstall but got a similar error message about it not being a valid setup file. The 1st email I sent to survisorsoft bounced. Waiting to see if the 2nd one does also.

Just tried the non-vga trial also. It wouldn't install either. Got an error message about it not being a valid Win32 application. This usually means it's a PPC executable. But it won't run from the PPC either. SurvivorSoft needs to update their website. I couldn't find any reference to Juggler and the latest "news" posted is almost 2 years old.

Hmm, try these CABs and see if they work. By the way, I agree - their site is in dire need of an update. :|

Thanks Darius but the problem persits with the both CABs. I get a popup on my Axim x50v saying they're not valid WindowsCE Setup files. I'm using CabInstall and trying to install them to my CF card. Guess it's time to move on and forget about trying the software.

Survivorsoft got back to me claiming that ActiveSync 3.8 is the problem. They wanted me to upgrade to 4.1. I don't think AS is the problem. I copied the VGA cab file to my CF card using a card reader and then tried to install the game on my Axim. Still got the invalid Windows CE setup file message. Since I completely bypassed AS and the problem persists, I think the files are corrupt. I'm done messing around. There are too many other games around.
Update: SurvivorSoft re-packed and re-uploaded the files on Handango. The installation now works on my x50v.

Hi guys,
The problem is indeed ActiveSync. If you used 4.1 everything would work fine. We where packaging the software with the latest Visual Studio tools and it looks like that causes the setup to only work if people are using ActiveSync 4.1. So we fixed the problem, we repacked everything using the 2003 development tools, and now the setup files work both with Activesync 4.1 and earlier version. The files on Handango, PocketGear and Clickgamer have all been upgraded.
We do recommend upgrading to 4.1 since it is the latest version available to the public:

We would love to hear peoples comments on the game.
