Default HP UK: hw6915 Coming In June

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/e...9-12343242.html

According to HP UK's website, the hw6915 will be available for delivery in June, and it appears you can place your pre-order now for one of these all-in-one beauties. Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, GSM, IRDA, MSFP, Thumb Keyboard - what more could you want in a device (Except maybe a manufacturer with a better track record of support than HP)?

Well, a front-side camera, USB host and 3G, like in the T830? And, preferably, a sliding keyboard and a QVGA screen (as in the Wizard) instead of the much less useful thumb + square screen combo.

VGA. I can't go back now.

I lied on the earlier poll, because I am starting to be tempted by convergence, but not at the expense of having a screen I can do work on. I do actually use the thing as a computer, not just a phone.

When this device first appeared on the Hp UK website it said extended lead time May, now it's June.
I will wait for the Loox T-830. That way I can use my myriad of SD cards and not have to go and buy mini-SD instead. I think it's also a better all round device too.

This one tempts me every time I see it. It has the feature set I want with a pretty nice form-factor. But...it's HP.

I've played with a pre-production unit in March on the Microsoft MVP Open Days summit. Not a bad device at the first sight. Of course, I haven't managed to test important stuff like EDGE throughput, battery life (especially when compared to the excellent battery life of the HTC Wizard - it's not much better than that of my t610!) and stuff. I wish the T830 were so sleek and light...

HP's got alot of nerve releasing the 6900 mid year. It's already way outdated and it's should have been released in place of the 6500. No 3G, no SIRF III chipset, no wireless G.

In it's current state, HP is a non-entity.

A rectangular, VGA screen would be nice.

It looks pretty good to me on the Fujitsu website. I just hope the 3rd July ship date doesnt slip.

Memory type description
192 MB total memory (128 MB ROM and 64 MB SDRAM), up to 45 MB user available persistent storage memory, certified up to 1 GB

What does that mean? There will be memory upgrades available?
