Public Version of Skype for Pocket PC 2.0 Available
"Skype for Pocket PC 2.0 is now available as the official public version. Thanks to all who helped us improve the beta. Go get it now. Skype for Pocket PC 2.0 (prior release was v1.1) enhances voice quality and the number of devices supported, more languages and 240x240 screens. Other key features and benefits include: Skype to Skype and SkypeOut calls; instant messaging; presence, including online, offline, away, call forwarding, device not connected; automatic synchronization of your Skype contact list between device and desktop; voicemail; making SkypeOut calls directly from the device phone book; simplified contact search; authorizing contact requests and adding new contacts."
Skype for Pocket PC 2.0 has hopped out of beta and is now publicly available to all users. Aside from all the new features in this release, Skype has updated their download page with a wizard to make it easier to select the right version for your device.

Cool. Now I just wish my Axim supported the hands-free Bluetooth profile. Maybe I can get Skype on my Smartphone though.
On another note, when I signed in to Skype.com today, I saw a "Skype Gift Day" message, and got 10 free SkypeOut minutes.

Yes, the free credit was a special Valentine's Day offer for all US and UK users. Other countries should receive similar offerings over the coming weeks.

Is the version available also for low CPU devices? Anyone tried it on an dopod 838 [aka HTC WIZARD] or Qtek 9100 or i-mate k-JAM???
EDIT: nevermind I found the low CPU version :P
