Default i-mate Announces the PDA-N

http://www.clubimate.com/t-DETAILS_PDAN.aspx

"i-mate, the specialists in Microsoft Windows Mobile devices and applications announce the launch of their latest Pocket PC PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), the i-mate PDA-N. Sleek and compact, the i-mate PDA-N is a Windows Mobile 5.0 based Pocket PC with all the latest Microsoft tools plus built in GPS navigation capability and Wi-Fi. An ideal companion for today's on-the-road professional, the i-mate PDA-N has a sharp quality 64k full colour touch screen, and a sleek gun metal grey finish. The PDA has a 300Mhz PDA processor and 128MB ROM plus full memory expansion via the SDIO/MMC card slot."

i-mate has just released the PDA-N (also known as the HTC Galaxy). It might not be the best looking device in the market, but it still has a decent set of specs - namely, a Samsung 300MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, 802.11b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.1, GPS, and Windows Mobile 5.0.

WOW What a great device! But no camera!??!! Add that plus A2DP support and I'll give up my trusty XDA II with WM5!

I get the feeling that this device will be the test as to how much money HTC puts behind stand-alones in the future.

It seems that this one is the only one the radar in the near future, except the Muse. Which given the fact that its going after the media market may have a hard way to go.
