Joining the Pocket PC Thoughts Team
Hello, everyone! My name is Raphael Salgado and I'm the newest Contributing Editor-in-Training for Pocket PC Thoughts. While I have been an active member here and in the Pocket PC realm (especially all the popular online forums) for many years, I have never felt more ecstatic about joining such a great team and online community.
I consider myself a 'jack-of-all-trades' in the technology world, applying every aspect of my life and career around the latest gizmos and gadgetry I could find, research, afford, and desire. My affinity for Pocket PCs (especially Phone Edition devices) has put me on a mutually fulfilling path to educate prospective users, entertain active users, and basically get the most out of your device (read: tweaking and hacking). I also have a passion for developing games on the Pocket PC/Smartphone platform.
Among other official designations, I am or have been a Microsoft Certified Professional, a CTIA A+ Certified Technician, an STI Certified Help Desk Technician, and a Dell Premier Access Certified Technician. In the 'balancing act' of moments where technology is not on my mind, I am also a husband and father of two children. Some of my hobbies include karate, karaoke, movies, and "reading" via audio books.
I hope to be a very resourceful and "thought"-provoking contributor here on Pocket PC Thoughts, and with all of you at my side, it is truly an honor and privilege to be a part of it.

Welcome and Congratulations!
Slightly offtopic: what about a "Beam Braga Out Even Further As Well" project?

Welcome Raphael! Looking forward to your contributions .
As a start, what devices are you using or would love to have? I'd like to have a WM5, 3G PPCPE with GPS, no Qwerty board & not big like Jasjar - does it exist yet?
Anyone planning it you heard about?

Thanks for all the kind words.
As for Phone Edition devices, present and future, I've been compiling a little(?) chart for public viewing...
http://www.beyondthetech.com/downloa...Comparison.htm
If there are others, I'd definitely like to include them, since this turned into a little hobby of mine to help people find the right Phone Edition device for them and see all the features compared across the board.
My Qtek 9000 is out for replacement since the USB port broke on it. But, my good friend and reseller, David Weiniger aka MadMonkeyBoy should have my O2 XDA Atom very shortly. Then, I can hopefully review a ton of software and accessories. Kinda hard to do it with a monochrome Nokia GSM phone. 8O
I would have loved an integrated GPS, but complete convergence is not there just yet. And who said the the journey wasn't as gratifying as its destination?
