So close. If WM5 gets its bugs ironed out, this may be my iPaq replacement.

Very tempting . . . . Though the n560 (also Fujitsu) is also rumoured to be out in March and is basically the same unit (VGA included) though with 256mb ROM and integrated GPS.

Will be interesting to see if it will be cheaper to buy a bluetooth GPS with the C550 or to go with the n560.
Either way, does anyone have any good leads on how to get one of these guys in Canada?

No CF
Can't compete with the Axim if it doesn't have CF. :-(

hmm... I was kind of expecting the rumored "ultimate" device instead of this. Is there ever going to be such device from Fujitsu?

There is the N560 due in March (as mentioned earlier) - supposedly, 624MHz CPU, GPS, VGA, etc. More info here.

The N560 and the T830 will be a pretty decent device, as far as the specs are concerned (except for some serious problems like the missing 2700g in the N560 and the 240*240 screen in the T830). I wish they hit the market FAR earlier though...

I'm really glad there is SOME progress towards a "pocketable" VGA PocketPC, but I was hoping for more.
My beloved iPaq 1910 was 120 grams (less than 70% of my x50v's 175 grams.) The size was also in the "30% smaller" range. The c550 really isn't very much smaller or lighter than the x50v.
It's like we've been going backwards on pocketability since December of 2002 when the 1910 came out. With all the progress on phone and camera screens, I'm at a loss as to why we can't just get a 1910 equivalent with VGA by now.
