The Rumormill - The Moto Q Cancelled? Not Hardly.
http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/index.php?topic_id=10160
Just a heads up folks. There are some sites reporting the Motorola Q has been cancelled. It hasn't. You can read more at our sister site, Smartphone Thoughts.
You just have to remember where some of these sites are getting their information and the historical reputability of those sources. Personally, I am waiting for the "Q" to show up here at Verizon so I can do a good side by side with the Treo 700w. I think the Q will be a great device for those that might find a full blown Pocket PC to be too much of a system for their needs.

Wasn't the rumor concerning the GSM version of the Q? I hate Verizon and it's "rape the customer" pricing schemes and "screw-the-customer-let's disable-phone-features-so-we-can-get-more-money" attitude.

I dont want this rumor to come true. My dad has been looking for such device and I'd promised him that there will be a device from motorola.
So, lets home that this is not true

I'm so happy that I've promised myself a while ago that I'll never ever use msmobiles as a source for news.
(because, IIRC they've started this rumor at the english-speaking websites)

No. The rumor was started by saying the MotoQ was cancelled outright and then several sites picked up on it. It has morphed a few times since then. Even the rumor of the GSM version being cancelled is highly suspect IMHO.

The post title says "Not Hardly" when it clearly means "Hardly."

Would someone explain me the whole "hardly vs. not hardly" case? I've seen this on PPCT before and I still don't get it

This is a MS smartphone(not to be confused with pocket pc phone editions)
As a result of which, it doesnt have a touch screen
