Use Voice Command Through BT Headset, Avoid Registry Hacking
"You are happy with your new Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition. Either a HTC Universal or a HTC Wizard. You also decided to install Microsoft Voice Command, but then realise that you can't activate Voice Command from your Bluetooth headset and dial a number or contact! There is a registry change floating around that will enable this functionality, but you have to manually apply the change through a registry editor. And we all know how dangerous this can be."
If you're a bit leary of playing around with that mighty, formidable opponent known as the registry (Where one small mistake can mean disaster), then this little utility may be what you're looking for! While advertised for the K-Jam, I'm assuming this would work on the JasJar (Or other Wizard / Universal variants as well).

This is a great hack BUT seems to only work on HTC devices. Now if only we could have one for the Eten M600 to loose that damn cybertron voice command for good ....

So some one put a registry hack into a CAB file? Woo hoo!
Tweaks2k2 has this Voice Command setting application functionality too.

I tried this hack and can't seem to get it to work. I ran the app and choose Voice Command rather than the defaul dialer and still nothing. I am using it on a k-jam with a nXZEN 5500 headset.
Can anyone think of anything I may have missed?
Thanks.

Any luck with WM2003SE devices (or in my case, the Jam)?

How can I get this working?
I installed the cab-file on my ppc, yet how & where can I open the program and make the required settings? I can't open the program anywhere on my ppc. It does not show up in the list of programs (however if I go to the delete-programs app, it is there an can be removed from the ppc).

If you use file explorer and click on the app in its folder, that will start it and you can select which dialer to use.
Hope that helps.

Doesn't seem to work on qtek 9100
Doesn't seem to work on my qtek 9100 with German system and German (trial) version of Voice Command installed. The program keeps on telling me that Voice Command is not installed, altough it definitely is and can be used, just not with the BT headset.
